Zoe and I decided that we would go and sell our Zines at Sticky Institutes Festival of The Photocopier this year! It was a our first, usually only selling them on Etsy or Zine Scene.
I was....very unsure, I'm always extremely nervous going to a new event where I know there will be a huge amount of people. The Twin was fine, she spent weeks cultivating her zines and has an impressive amount to sell.
The Twin made us matching badges and we both wore demin and the same shoes.
We got a lot of 'Are you guys twins? Coz you look the same!'
I bought a badge from Maddy Young, one that I'd been eyeing online for a while and have been thinking of getting a tattoo of. I love Maddy's attention to detail and the delicate look of the flowers.
The Twin kind of fangirled over her idols, and I ended up taking many photos as I giggled helplessly!
We shared a table with this cutey! Emily decorated her half of the table with vintage my little ponies and we got to watch her sketching :)
Overall the day was good, I almost had a panic attack from claustrophobia but I sold out of my Anxiety Zine, which kind of surprised me as I didn't think anyone would look at any of mine when faced with The Twin's amazing work.
