I could say that I have been busy, and have had no time, but as time seems to flow with all the fluidity of that blue, cornflour slime I made in grade three, I couldn't be saying it with any sincerity.
A more likely reason is the alarming lack of motivation that seems to have snuck up on me this year.
I have plans. But they seem far and distant.
I'm looking for work. But every rejection just makes me more tired.
I've gotten into the habit of naps.
That probably isn't a good thing.
But to start blogging again, I have to get myself into action and do something *relativey* noteworthy.
On Monday my Mum asked if I would come to a workshop with her in town. I don't go to workshops, mainly because I feel odd and uncomfortable. Not unlike I did in year twelve when I gave up on having any friends other than my Twin Sister.
But I said yes. And it was good. I still felt odd. But maybe I just need to exercise my socialising glands.
The workshop was organised and run by Courtney from Princess Polly, and Sandra from Ballyhoo Art, in Geelong. I was quiet surprised, as Geelong doesn't often host kitch craft. Hell, Made by Typo evacuated after one month.
We made flowers after a tutorial from Jess Alderton. There was tea. Macarons. A mess of confetti size tissue paper scraps.

I'll probably go to the next workshop, where Jess Alderton will be showing us how to paint our own picnic blankets.
I'm liking the theme so far, since I'll use both these paper flowers and the picnic blanket for my 21st birthday in April.
X Emily
